Where music and design meet, you’ll find Steven Phelps and his collection of more than 1,200 records of rock, jazz, country, blues and everything in between. When his turntable isn’t spinning, Steven’s musical ability is on display, playing guitar, bass, piano and even banjo.
But for this creative designer, music appreciation is more than just the notes and lyrics – album cover art can hold just as much meaning. “When they’re done right, both music and design might look easy,” Steven says. “But to do either one well, it takes a lot of practice and dedication.”
