TXU Energy Jumps to Seventh Best Place to Work in DFW Area

Company Awarded Elite “Best of” Award for Encouraging New Ideas

For the second year in a row, TXU Energy was a top contender on The Dallas Morning News’ lineup of the Top 100 Places to Work, landing the No. 7 spot in 2015 among large companies (500 or more employees).

Last year – the first time TXU Energy threw its hat in the ring – the company was named No. 21 among the 315 small, midsized and large companies in the competition.

The company was also named among an elite group of workplaces for “best of” awards when they were crowned “Best at Encouraging New Ideas” for 2015.

TXU Energy not only has the privilege of serving customers in one of the most competitive retail environments in the nation, but is also honored to maintain its position at the top of the list of any other electricity provider in the state.

The rankings are a reflection of employee responses to questions about company values, organizational health, work-life balance, leadership, culture and corporate engagement from an anonymous survey administered by third party WorkplaceDynamics.

TXU Energy is proud to be a company centered on a great corporate culture that invests in, develops and encourages its people. We’re excited to share this honor with our people who make this a great place to work and with the 1.5 million customers who make it a joy to be in this business every single day.

Being recognized among The Dallas Morning News Top 100 Places to Work is testament to our competitive spirit and hard work.  It’s a clear signal to the market and to anyone who works here that we are committed to hiring and developing great people in a great environment.
