  • Of 23 actions filed by the Texas Attorney General against the Environmental Protection Agency, the state has won five favorable ruling, lost three others, and has “less clear results in a small number of other cases,” The Associated Press reports.
  • National Law Review summarizes the electricity-related bills passed by Texas’ 84th Legislature, which take effect Sept. 1. The bills address oversight of the import and export of power from other markets, solar and energy efficiency markets, desalination and ratemaking.
  • Electricity generation from utility-scale solar power plants is 31 times higher than it was a decade ago, Greentech Media writes of new Energy Information Administration data.
