Mentoring Meet-up

Employees, veteran mentees talk career transition, take in a game

VetMentors2015The people of EFH, Luminant and TXU Energy are privileged to help many military veterans in their career development and transition to civilian life through our partnership with American Corporate Partners’ veterans mentoring program. Employees – many veterans themselves – mentor former members of the armed services with guidance on navigating the professional world and re-entering civilian life. Many of the pairs met recently at a Texas Rangers baseball game.

“I am impressed with this program and have been selling it to sailors wherever I go. John is exactly what I wanted when I signed up for this program. I am not sure how you do it, but you found a perfect fit.”

~ Christopher D., U.S. Navy, paired with an EFH mentor
