Last night, WFAA-TV’s Byron Harris profiled an innovative service provided by Dallas company Compass Professional Health Services to help employees navigate the often confusing health care system and reduce costs for both employees and employers. Luminant’s Meranda Cohn shared how Compass helped sort through medical bills after the birth of her son to identify and resolve billing errors.
The company first engaged Compass MyHealth pros in 2012 to guide employees through their health journey, such as selecting doctors, comparing costs, scheduling appointments and resolving bills. To date, nearly 4,000 EFH, Luminant and TXU Energy employees have received assistance from Compass on almost 19,300 issues.
