- The Environmental Protection Agency’s latest proposed ozone rule predicts much higher benefits than a similar plan three years ago, raising the suspicions of two Republican senators. Sens. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) and John Thune (R-S.D.) have asked the agency to provide “a cost-benefit analysis that doesn’t include the benefits of reducing other pollutants, which would also be cut as result in “co-benefits,” The Hill reports.
