  • The Clean Power Plan would mean drastic changes for the Texas grid. That’s the main takeaway of James Osborne’s recap of the just-completed two-day hearing from the Texas House Environmental Regulation Committee on the pending federal law to cut carbon dioxide emissions from power plants.
  • The lead from this Bloomberg story is pretty much the story: “Spot wholesale electricity in Texas rebounded after wind generation dropped 39 percent in three hours, plunging below forecasts.”
