  • The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is moving toward taking over authority for issuing greenhouse gas permits in the state from the EPA. From the Business & Legal Reports article:

    “The TCEQ is working to replace a federal implementation plan with its own program, which will eliminate the need for businesses to seek air permits from the EPA. According to the EPA, this will increase efficiency and allow for industry to continue to grow in Texas.”
