Inspiring women: EFH Board member Billie Williamson nurtures a pipeline of future leaders

Consider Billie Williamson one of those role models. As a young accountant at Ernst & Young, Williamson charted new territory as one of few females in a male-dominated industry. Now retired, she is connecting young women with more senior female leaders in an effort to prime corporate pipelines with savvy, diverse talent.

Williamson, who serves on various corporate and charitable boards in addition to EFH’s Board of Directors, recently told SMU Cox School of Business’s Cox Today magazine that more women in business means customers are better served and transactions are better structured.
