Luminant builds hope for North Texas wounded veteran

As a proud veteran supporter and military-friendly employer, Luminant is helping provide the keys to a bright future for a North Texas wounded veteran through Operation Finally Home. Employees recently presented a $5,000 donation to the organization, which provides custom-made, mortgage-free homes to wounded and disabled veterans. The contribution will be used to complete a home in Little Elm, Texas, for U.S. Army Sgt. Stephen Jackel and his family. Jackel was injured when a bomb exploded under his vehicle while serving in Afghanistan in 2011.
